Gujranwala: A man on Saturday was allegedly poisoned to death by his In-laws in Gujranwala over some marital issue with his wife.
According to family members, the wife of deceased, identified as Iqbal, went to her parents’ house after a fight with him over some domestic issue.
When Iqbal went to his in-laws’ house to placate his wife, they made him digest the poisoned food, causing his death, the family members claimed.
Subsequently, the relatives blocked the Sialkot Road in protest and demanded the arrest of the suspects. The police were in negotiations with relatives to end the roadblock.
