GUJRANWALA: A girl was allegedly poisoned to death by parents over entering in marriage of choice, police said on Sunday.
According to details, Sana hailing from Qila Deedar Singh had entered in love marriage with Zahid some one month earlier and was living with husband.
The parents called their daughter to home on pretext of arrange meal for her and poisoned her to death.
Over failure to establish contact with wife over repeated attempts, Zahid along with police reached the house of in-laws and found her wife death.
The body was shifted to hospital for postmortem and police after registering a case into the incident started an investigation.
