LAHORE: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has issued a notice to MNA Capt (retd) Safdar for violating the code of conduct in NA-120.
He has been asked to submit a reply within three days.
As per the code of conduct, no MNA can take part in the campaign for the by-election.
Earlier, Capt (retd) Safdar, son-in-law of Begum Kalsoom Nawaz, had addressed a meeting in NA-120 on Thursday.
