Two pairs of parents have been apprehended for attempting to marry their children to each other in Shikarpur.
The marriage ceremonies of 8-year-old Halim with 12-year-old Rubina, and a 6-month-old girl with a two-year-old boy were under way when neighbours informed the police.
The police conducted a raid and arrested the four parents.
A search for the nikah khawan is ongoing.
