CDGL fixed mutton, beef rates

City District Government Lahore has fixed subsidized retail prices of mutton and beef at Rs 400 per kg and Rs 190 per kg respectively at “Sasta Ramadan Bazaars”. Chicken meat will also be Rs 5 to Rs 7 cheaper than market rate. DCO Lahore Ahad Cheema got the butchers association to agree on provision of subsidized meat in the Sasta Ramazan Bazaars from 9 am to 5 pm in a day. It was agreed that not more than 2 kg meat would be sold to any customer Before this, DCO also met with traders of Akbari Mandi. Traders also assured him of selling food items at wholesale rates in Sasta Bazaars. The rates of Dal Chana, sugar, and White Chana are fixed as Rs 61, Rs 68 and Rs 89 respectively.
