Zaffar Sabri is a highly trained and broadly experienced development professional. He has received his education at UET-Lahore; AIT-Bangkok; Harvard Kennedy School, and Sloan School of Management, at MIT, Massachusetts. His experience of over 45 years encompasses working in the areas of urban and rural development, water resource development, and water conservation, Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH), community driven development, climate compatible development, and poverty alleviation. Mr. Sabri is the Founder Managing Director of Innovative Development Consultants, (Pvt) Limited. He has also served as Senior Group Head (Public Goods & Services) at Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund - PPAF; as General Planner-Ministry of Housing, Muscat, Oman; as General Manager Pakistan Environmental Planning and Architectural Consultants – PEPAC; and as Advisor - Extension Service, University College London. He also served as Syndicate Advisor with Pakistan Civil Services Academy, Lahore. He has been a consultant with a number of multilateral and bilateral funding agencies, including the World Bank, Asian Development Bank, and UNICEF.
