John Kahler

The writer is a paediatrician who practices in Chicagoland. He volunteers with the Syrian American Medical Society. Dr John Kahler was named Chicagoan of the Year (2016), along with his colleagues Dr Zaher Sahloul and Dr Samer Attar, for carrying out medical missions to the besieged city of Aleppo.
