LAHORE: Pakistani YouTuber and social media figure Rajab Butt has finally broken his silence amid a growing controversy surrounding his marriage and strained relations with family members. This ongoing dispute, which has captured the attention of many on social media, also coincides with the creator’s ongoing legal battles.
In an Instagram Stories post, Rajab shared a screen recording of private chats allegedly sent by his brother-in-law, Aon Muhammad. The messages reportedly contained negative comments about Rajab and his family. Rajab, who had refrained from commenting publicly for months, said he felt compelled to respond as personal matters continued to be discussed online.
“I have many more recordings and screenshots, some even more intense,” Rajab wrote. “My silence ends here, once and for all.” He accused his brother-in-law of orchestrating social media groups, manipulating fan pages, and spreading false information to gain sympathy and attention.
Responding to questions about why he hasn’t featured his nine-month-old son, Kivaan, in his vlogs, Rajab explained that he respected his wife’s wishes in keeping their child out of the public eye. He also addressed the emotional toll on his marriage, acknowledging the uncertainty about its future but expressing that any resolution would be “by the will of Allah.”
Rajab further claimed that personal details about his marriage had been shared with podcasters and fan pages without his consent. He questioned his family members’ behavior, criticizing the use of hurtful language against relatives and challenging their moral compass.
In closing, Rajab emphasized that his primary concern is his son and stated that the matter was now closed. This personal controversy unfolds as Rajab faces separate legal issues, including allegations related to promoting betting applications and a blasphemy case, both of which remain unresolved.
