LAHORE: Master Paints won the subsidiary final after a gripping 8–7 victory over Indus Polo in a sudden-death chukker in the 13th Maj Gen Saeed uz Zaman Janjua Memorial Polo Cup, sponsored by JS Bank, at the Fortress Stadium Lahore.
The event, which is being played under the auspices of the Club (Lahore Garrison Polo Ground), saw a strong turnout of spectators and families at Fortress Stadium Lahore, who came in good number to witness the exciting contest. Club Secretary Major Babar Mehboob Awan, along with other officials, were also present on the occasion.
The match progressed neck-and-neck, ultimately leading to an extra chukker where Master Paints sealed the win through sharp teamwork and decisive finishing. For Master Paints, Bilal Hayat Noon top-scored with three goals, while Agha Musa Ali Khan and Ahmed Ali Tiwana struck two goals each. Sufi Hashim added one goal. For Indus Polo, Muhammad Ali Malik scored three goals, Pir Mujeeb ul Haq contributed two, while Bilal Haye and Ibrahim Khalil netted one goal apiece.
