Israel mocking the whole world

A law is that kind of substance that is obligatory to maintain properly, even if it is international law. A wholly recognized member of the United Nations should have been bound to oblige with pros and cons. If any members of the United Nations violate the law, they have been condemned, criticized and punished by the developed countries. But in the case of Israel, the whole world might well have become dumb and blind, where International law is valueless. The international body has been fractured and knocked down by Israel, apart from the rest.

On October 10, there was a peace  deal between Hamas and Israel under the supervision of US President Donald Trump, which should have been prolonged but proved fragile within 18 days by Israel again attacking Palestinians on the excuse of hostage exchange, where Hamas couldn’t find a single body. With respect to that scenario, the whole Middle East is getting worse and is sraining diplomatic relations among nations.

Despite the recent ceasefire agreement, Israel’s aggression in the Middle East has not stopped. Israel is still attacking the region on multiple fronts. Tel Aviv has carried out multiple military operations in Lebanon, Syria and the West Bank in the past week. These attacks indicate that Israel is trying to destabilize and weaken its neighbouring countries. Nowadays, without any serious confrontation with its sovereign neighbouring countries, Israel frequently starts invasions against them.

Article 2.4 of the United Nations charter says all members shall refrain in their international relations from the threat or use of force against the territorial integrity or political independence of any state, or in any other manner inconsistent with the purposes of the United Nations. Whereas Article 2.3 says all members shall settle their international disputes by peaceful means in such a manner that international peace and security, and justice, are not endangered. Now the question arises, isn’t Israel a member of the United Nations? Or hasn’t it broken the rules and regulations of the United Nations charter? As it is a member of the United Nations, it should have to maintain the world order.

But its recent actions are showing the world that it does not matter to it to obey international law. Since 7 October 2023, about 67000 Palestinians have been killed, and the whole Gaza province bombed, with no monuments left intact. Palestinians are bound to flee, as they are not allowed to get any humanitarian assistance to Gaza

In a word, Israel commits genocide in that portion of the world scenario where the international community had all sorts of opportunities to stop that violence in a moment, but they could not. Only because of US support for Israel. So from Palestine, they only want the land of the desert rather than any people.

For the sake of regional peace and order, Israel should only focus on its own territorial integrity rather than violating international law or even launching any unlawful attack on neighboring countries. For the sake of its own security maximization, it cannot violate international law, even a single law-related procedure, which might cause a disturbance of regional peace.

Apart from that, on June 13, Israel launched a large-scale air and missile assault against Iran. Israel claimed Iran was close to producing weapons-grade uranium and might soon have a nuclear weapon capability. The theory that Israel applied here is irrational in the sense that no one can get the capability to produce nuclear weapons, whereas there will be only one country that can carry nuclear weapons in the Middle East. If anyone tries to do so, they will launch an attack.  Again, in the case of Syria, on July 16, Israel carried out airstrikes in Damascus, targeting Syria’s Ministry of Defence and other key military installations. The Syrian government condemned the attack, calling it a “flagrant violation of national sovereignty.”

In the strikes on Damascus carried out by Israel on July 16, at least three civilians were killed and 34 others were wounded. In September 2024, the Israeli army labelled its attacks as a “new phase” of the war on Gaza, saying it had struck over a thousand targets in Lebanon, while claiming those were Hezbollah strongholds or military facilities placed in people’s homes. Israel killed at least 569 Lebanese people. Among the dead are 50 children and 94 women, while about 2,000 people were wounded, the Lebanese Ministry of Public Health said.

Now, there is the argument that one particular country is continuously launching attacks on sovereign countries only because of its own fear of being threatened. Despite this, Israel attacked multiple sovereign countries. But not a single allegation has been made against Israel. Actually, Israel does not care about any condemnation, criticism or punishment. Besides, who will give punish it while the World’s one of the biggest powers, the USA, supports it. Eventually, all law, jurisdiction, and humanitarian perspectives are nothing but rubbish to it. The whole world is mocked by it. Violation of International law, disrespect towards others’ national integrity, and genocide committed by it are all now valid for it, where the international community cannot do anything rather watch the conundrum of this rough state in the world of the 21st century.
