Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan unveil Neelofar’s first song during star-studded evening

LAHORE: On a crisp autumn night in Lahore, the much-anticipated film Neelofar celebrated the launch of its first song at an exclusive screening hosted at the historic Sir Ganga Ram House. The venue’s heritage and old-world charm provided the perfect backdrop for an evening that mirrored the film’s poetic and soulful essence.

The event was led by the film’s stars, Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan, who warmly welcomed guests from the entertainment, fashion, and music industries. Actor Yasir Hussain served as the evening’s host, keeping the atmosphere light-hearted and engaging with his trademark humor and energy.

Guests were treated to the first glimpse of Neelofar’s musical world through the unveiling of its debut song, beautifully performed by Vicky Haider. The melody, rich in emotion and depth, resonated deeply with the audience and set the tone for what promises to be one of Pakistani cinema’s most heartfelt love stories.

Among the attendees were some of Pakistan’s most prominent creative figures, including Seemi Raheel, Zeb Bangash, Nameer Khan, HAVI, Mooroo, and Ken Doll, along with renowned designers, socialites, and emerging talents.

The newly released song forms the emotional core of Neelofar, blending poetry and music into a story of love that transcends barriers of sight and language. In the film, Fawad Khan plays a writer, while Mahira Khan portrays Neelofar — a visually impaired woman whose radiant spirit illuminates the narrative. Early reactions from the exclusive screening suggest the film could become one of the most touching romantic dramas in recent Pakistani cinema.

Speaking at the event, Fawad Khan said, “Neelofar is a story that lives in emotions, and this song is its heartbeat. Tonight was about sharing that feeling with everyone who has believed in the film’s journey.”

Mahira Khan added, “This film is deeply personal to me. Seeing everyone respond so emotionally to the song reminded me why we made Neelofar. It’s about love in its purest, most soulful form.”

The night ended on a high note, with guests celebrating a story that promises to touch hearts when it reaches cinemas soon.
