The UAE has introduced a mandatory new requirement for all visa applicants, stipulating that they must now submit the outer cover page of their passport along with their visa application. This update, confirmed by a representative from an Amer center, was reported by Khaleej Times.
The official notice specifies that the outer cover page must be included in all entry permit applications, effective immediately. In addition to this, applicants are still required to submit a copy of their passport, a clear passport-sized photo, hotel booking confirmation, and a round-trip ticket.
The rationale behind this new policy remains unclear.
