DUBAI: An Emirati-owned coffee brand, Roasters, has made its mark in the Guinness World Records by serving the world’s most expensive cup of coffee, priced at Dh2,500. The record was officially recognized on September 13 at the brand’s flagship outlet in Boulevard Downtown Dubai.
Konstantin Harbuz, the co-founder and CEO of Roasters, highlighted that this achievement not only reflects the team’s dedication but also underscores Dubai’s growing status as a global center for unique and luxurious coffee experiences. Since its launch, Roasters has expanded to 11 branches across the UAE, offering a premium coffee experience to enthusiasts.
The record-breaking coffee is a hand-brewed V60 made from rare Panamanian Geisha beans sourced from the renowned Esmeralda farm. Known for their delicate floral aroma and fruity notes, these beans are complemented by a special serving of tiramisu, chocolate ice cream, and a Geisha-infused chocolate piece, creating an unparalleled sensory experience.
Prepared tableside by an expert barista using a temperature-controlled kettle and V60 dripper, the coffee is poured into a handcrafted Edo Kiriko crystal glass from Japan. To further elevate the experience, customers are provided with flavor cards to guide them through the unique tasting notes of the brew.
