Canadian-Pakistani film Kalisa Mere Aagey unveils trailer song

TORONTO: Kalisa Mere Agaye, a Canadian-Pakistani art film written and directed by Rubina Faisal, is set to make waves in the international film circuit. Produced under the banner of One $ Production, the film stars Hamza Ellahi in the lead role and sheds light on the struggles and emotional challenges faced by overseas Pakistanis as they navigate life in a western country.

The highly anticipated trailer song was launched on September 7, 2025, at an exclusive event in Toronto, drawing members of the film community, media, and diaspora audiences. The launch marked the first glimpse into the film’s raw storytelling and soul-stirring performances.

Speaking about the project, director Rubina Faisal emphasized that Kalisa Mere Agaye is more than just a film—it is a reflection of the lived experiences of countless Pakistanis abroad who grapple with identity, belonging, and resilience.

With its strong narrative, artistic direction, and cultural depth, Kalisa Mere Agaye is positioned to resonate deeply with both South Asian audiences and international viewers seeking authentic immigrant stories.

The film is expected to release later this year, with further promotional events planned in Canada and Pakistan
