Hulk Hogan shocks his family after leaving $5 million wealth to sole beneficiary

Hulk Hogan, the iconic wrestling star who passed away on July 24 due to a heart attack, left behind nearly $5 million in assets, with his son Nick named as the sole beneficiary of his estate. According to court documents filed by Nick on Tuesday, Hogan’s estate includes $200,000 in cryptocurrency, $799,000 in personal and intellectual property, and a $4 million right to publicity.

Nick, who is pushing to be named co-personal representative of the estate alongside Terry McCoy, revealed that Hogan’s will had been amended multiple times between 2017 and 2023, with the original document executed in 2016. He also proposed McCoy as a potential curator for the estate.

Interestingly, Hogan’s daughter, Brooke Hogan, is not listed as a beneficiary. In 2023, she voluntarily removed herself from the will to avoid family disputes. Instead, she will receive a small portion from a life insurance policy, which she plans to use for her children’s college funds.

While Hogan’s widow, Melanie Sky Daily, was listed as a surviving spouse, she has yet to file a potential medical malpractice lawsuit related to a botched neck surgery he allegedly underwent prior to his death.

In addition to his will, it was revealed that Hogan had been battling chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL), a form of cancer, in the months before his passing. Despite his health challenges, Hogan’s legacy of financial success continues to impact his family, as noted by Brooke in her statement following his death.
