Prince William and Kate Middleton open new chapter in the lives following cancer battle

Prince William and Kate Middleton will relocate with their three children, Prince George, 12, Princess Charlotte, 10, and Prince Louis, 7, later this year, a spokesperson confirmed.

The family currently lives at Adelaide Cottage near Windsor Castle, but will move to Forest Lodge, an eight-bedroom home in Windsor Great Park valued at around $21 million. The new property offers more space and is seen as a “forever home” for the Wales family.

Sources say the move follows difficult years, including Middleton’s cancer diagnosis in March 2024, from which she has since gone into remission. The relocation is described as a “fresh start” and an opportunity to leave unhappy memories behind.

William and Kate will personally cover the renovation costs, and the home will have no live-in staff, keeping the move private and independent of taxpayer funds.
