Piers Morgan shares heartfelt tribute to Bruce Willis amid ‘dreadful incurable illness’

Piers Morgan has shared a nostalgic moment on Instagram, featuring Hollywood stars Bruce Willis, Sylvester Stallone, and Arnold Schwarzenegger. The picture was taken in 1993 during the opening of Planet Hollywood in London, when these three men were global action heroes.

Morgan reflected on the image, saying, “Someone randomly posted this photo on X today… it was taken in 1993 when Planet Hollywood opened in London and these three guys were the biggest movie action heroes in the world.”

He expressed sorrow over Willis’ health, stating, “It’s so sad that Bruce is now enduring such a dreadful incurable illness (frontotemporal dementia).”

Describing his encounters with the stars, Morgan called Willis “a great character as well as a great movie star” and praised Stallone and Schwarzenegger for their honesty and humor during interviews.

Willis, known for his iconic roles in Die Hard and The Expendables, retired from acting in 2022 after his family revealed his diagnosis of aphasia, a language disorder that later progressed to frontotemporal dementia. The condition, which impacts behavior, personality, and language, currently has no cure. Since his diagnosis, his family has been outspoken advocates for dementia awareness and research funding.
