Saudi Arabia expresses deep concern over US strikes on Iranian nuclear sites

RIYADH: The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has voiced strong concern over the recent developments in Iran, particularly the targeting of Iranian nuclear facilities by the United States.

In an official statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Kingdom reaffirmed its earlier condemnation on June 13, 2025, denouncing the violation of Iranian sovereignty.
The statement emphasized the importance of exercising restraint, de-escalating tensions, and avoiding further conflict in the region.

Calling for a peaceful resolution, Saudi Arabia urged the international community to intensify efforts to reach a political solution that could end the current crisis and pave the way for regional security and stability.

The statement comes amid rising regional tensions following reported US strikes on Iran’s Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan nuclear sites.

The Sultanate of Oman has strongly reacted to the recent US strikes on Iran, calling the action a clear violation of international laws.

A spokesperson for the Omani Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that the United States’ attack on Iran is deeply regrettable and expressed concern over Washington’s threat to expand the war. The spokesperson emphasized the need for restraint and respect for international norms in resolving conflicts.
