Nicola Peltz recently took to Instagram to share a heartfelt tribute to her mother, Claudia Heffner Peltz, amid ongoing reports of tension with her mother-in-law, Victoria Beckham.
In an Instagram Story posted on May 30, Nicola wrote, “I would choose my mom to be my mom in every lifetime. Again, and again, and again.” This post comes shortly after reports surfaced alleging that Victoria Beckham overshadowed Nicola and Brooklyn Beckham’s wedding dance in 2022.

According to sources cited by Page Six, Victoria made an unexpected move during singer Marc Anthony’s performance at the reception. Despite Nicola and Brooklyn choosing Anthony’s song “You Sang to Me” for their first dance, Anthony reportedly invited Victoria and Brooklyn to the floor, calling Victoria “the most beautiful woman in the room.”
“Everyone in the room witnessed what happened,” said a source close to the couple, describing the incident as part of a “pattern” of behavior. “The shock was palpable. It was deeply hurtful. Unfortunately, this wasn’t a one-off.”

However, another insider at the reception countered these claims, stating that Victoria and the Beckham family were “mystified” by allegations that she ruined the wedding or upset Nicola. The source noted that the newlyweds had multiple dances, and Victoria’s dance with Brooklyn happened later in the evening, alongside other family dances.
The exact origins of the reported feud between Nicola and Victoria remain unclear, though some speculate it stems from Nicola’s decision not to wear a wedding dress designed by Victoria.

Rumors of a divide within the Beckham family gained traction earlier this year when Nicola and Brooklyn were absent from David Beckham’s 50th birthday party in March. However, sources suggest efforts are underway to repair family relations.
“Brooklyn’s family adores him and will always be there for him,” an insider told Page Six. “They just can’t deal with this nonsense anymore.”
