Usman Wazeer beats India’s Eswaran in first round

Pakistani boxing star Usman Wazeer delivered a remarkable performance in Bangkok on Thursday, knocking out India’s S. Eswaran in the first round of their international ranking bout. Wazeer, known as the ‘Asian Boy,’ won by technical knockout just 1 minute and 41 seconds into the first round at World Siam Stadium, marking his 16th consecutive victory.

The Gilgit-Baltistan native asserted his dominance early, dropping Eswaran twice in the opening round, prompting the referee to halt the contest. Wazeer’s impressive win further solidified his position in international boxing rankings.

Before the fight, Wazeer dedicated the win to Pakistan, urging his fellow countrymen to support him with their prayers. “I will dedicate this win in the international ranking fight to Pakistan,” he said in a pre-fight message.

The event, which featured 15 matches, was highlighted by Wazeer’s dominant performance, making it one of the standout moments of the night.
