After the recent rains, Hub dam and Kalri Lake are said to have enough water in the reservoirs that may ensure smooth supply for many years. However, water shortage in Block 1 of Federal B-Area in Karimabad has remained as bad as it has been for God knows how long. The residents of the area have to purchase water at exorbitant prices. There is excess of water causing misery to people, and, at the same time, there is shortage of water causing misery to many others. Does this all make sense?
