Can Babar Azam equal Kumar Sangakkara’s record?

Pakistan captain Babar Azam has been in red hot form in ODI cricket, scoring four centuries in the last five innings.

The 27-year-old registered his 17th ODI century yesterday against West Indies, which was also his third consecutive century. The No.1 ranked batter became the first to score three straight centuries twice.

The second ODI between Pakistan and West Indies is tomorrow Babar now has the chance to equal former Sri Lankan wicketkeeper-batsman Kumara Sangakkara’s record of scoring consecutive hundreds.

The Sri Lankan legend had scored four consecutive centuries at the 2015 Cricket World Cup.
