Sanaullah says Fazl should withdraw remarks about martyrs

ISLAMABAD: Adviser to the Prime Minister on Political Affairs Rana Sanaullah on Friday described recent remarks by Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman about martyrs as inappropriate, while saying they did not appear to be part of any wider design.

Speaking on Geo News programme Naya Pakistan, the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz leader said Fazlur Rehman seemed to have made the statement in the heat of the moment. He said the JUI-F chief should take back his remarks and added that such a move would be positive.
