Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has condemned attacks on Saudi Arabia and reaffirmed Pakistan’s support for the kingdom’s security. His statement followed Saudi Arabia’s announcement that it intercepted ballistic missiles fired by the Houthis.

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Tuesday denounced attacks carried out against Saudi Arabia the previous night and reiterated Pakistan’s firm backing for the kingdom’s security.
In a post on X, the prime minister said Pakistan strongly condemned what he described as attacks on Saudi Arabia. His statement did not provide further details about the incident.
The premier’s remarks came after Saudi Arabia said on Monday that it had intercepted ballistic missiles fired toward the country’s south by the Houthis.
Shehbaz warned that such actions violated Saudi Arabia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity and could further damage peace and stability in the region. He also reaffirmed Islamabad’s unwavering support for the kingdom’s security.
