LESCO announces scheduled power outages in Lahore for July 4-5

LAHORE: The Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) has announced scheduled power outages in various parts of Lahore on July 4 and 5 to facilitate maintenance and development work on its electricity distribution network.

According to the utility, electricity supply will remain suspended in multiple areas during designated hours over the two days. Some feeders will experience power outages from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Friday, July 4, while other feeders will undergo shutdowns at different times on Saturday, July 5, in line with the published maintenance schedule.

LESCO said the temporary shutdowns are aimed at carrying out repair work and infrastructure upgrades to improve the reliability and performance of the electricity distribution system.

Consumers have been advised to check the feeder-wise shutdown schedule to determine whether their locality will be affected and to make necessary arrangements in advance. The utility said electricity supply will be restored as soon as the maintenance work is completed.

The complete feeder-wise shutdown schedule is available through LESCO’s official channels.
