Faisalabad Board official booked over attempted sexual assault allegation
Police registered a case against Deputy Controller of Examinations Mian Naeem after a student alleged he lured her with promises of marks and guess papers, then attempted assault near Jaranwala Road. He was suspended and an inquiry ordered.

FAISALABAD: Police have registered a case against a senior official of the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Faisalabad after a female student accused him of attempting to sexually assault her.
According to the FIR, Deputy Controller of Examinations Mian Naeem allegedly lured the student by promising to increase her examination marks and provide her with guess papers.
Police said the official first called the student to a degree college on Sargodha Road before allegedly persuading her to accompany him towards Jaranwala Road, where he attempted to sexually assault her. The student resisted and later reported the incident to authorities.
A case has been registered at Millat Town Police Station, and police said efforts are under way to arrest the suspect.
Following the complaint, the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Faisalabad suspended Mian Naeem from his post and ordered a departmental inquiry.
Board officials said strict action would be taken if the allegations are proven and that no leniency would be shown in cases involving the harassment or exploitation of students.
