Female tourist killed in Kaghan road crash
A woman tourist from Sheikhupura was killed and seven of her relatives were injured when their car hit a pickup in Kaghan Valley. In a separate incident, two women tourists were seriously hurt after being struck by a jeep in Naran.

MANSEHRA: A woman tourist was killed and seven members of her family were injured after their car collided with a pickup vehicle in the Mahandri area of Kaghan Valley on Saturday, officials said.
The family, which belonged to Sheikhupura district, was on its way back home after a leisure trip to Kaghan Valley when the accident took place. Rescuers and local residents moved the injured to the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital in Balakot, where doctors pronounced Saima Bibi dead.
The injured were later referred to King Abdullah Teaching Hospital in Mansehra for further treatment. According to the Rescue 1122 district emergency officer, the deceased woman’s body was sent to Punjab after medico-legal formalities were completed.
Police in Balakot registered an FIR and began an investigation to arrest the pickup driver, who left the scene after the crash. In a separate incident in Naran, a jeep hit two women tourists who were walking on a footpath, leaving both of them seriously injured.
