ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court is scheduled to hear on Thursday a contempt appeal concerning alleged restrictions on meetings with PTI founder Imran Khan.
The case relates to claims that earlier court directions on access to Khan were not implemented. The hearing marks movement in a matter that had remained pending while similar petitions accumulated.
According to the cause listing, the apex court has also fixed a separate miscellaneous application filed by Khan’s sister, Uzma Khan, for hearing alongside the contempt appeal. Both matters are set to be taken up by a three-member bench.
The proceedings are expected to focus on the question of compliance with previous orders linked to access to the former prime minister.
