Woman alleges abuse, child abduction by husband in Kasur

KASUR: Police have registered a case in the Kanganpur area of Kasur district against a man accused of subjecting his wife to domestic violence and taking away their one-year-old daughter.

According to police, the complainant, Anita Asghar, told investigators that her husband, Babar, took their daughter Dua, aged one, and handed her over to an unidentified person.

Anita alleged that Babar had been physically abusing her repeatedly. She also described him as a drug dealer in her statement to investigators.

She told police that she had married Babar through a court marriage around six years ago. The couple has two daughters: four-year-old Ayesha and one-year-old Dua.
