LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz on Saturday said the province had entered a new era of “one-stop agriculture input markets,” with farmers for the first time being provided comprehensive agricultural services and facilities under one roof close to their villages.
According to an official statement, four Model Agriculture Malls have been established in Punjab and are fully operational, while the chief minister has directed authorities to take immediate steps to set up similar facilities in 10 additional districts.
The statement said the malls in Multan, Bahawalpur, Sahiwal and Sargodha are providing farmers with agricultural inputs, expert consultation services and a range of modern farming support facilities at a single location.
