Punjab opens 52 vacancies for school meal programme

LAHORE: The Punjab School Education Department has announced 52 contract-based vacancies under the Chief Minister Punjab Schools Meal Programme for 2026-27.

The positions have been advertised by the department’s Strategic Management Unit for programme administration, finance, information technology, data management and field coordination.

Successful candidates will be posted at the unit’s Lahore office and in selected districts covered by the school meal initiative.

The recruitment drive includes opportunities for professionals with qualifications and experience relevant to management, accounts, monitoring, data analysis, technology and district-level programme implementation.

The programme aims to provide meals to students in government schools while improving nutrition, attendance and learning outcomes, particularly in less-developed districts of Punjab.

Applicants have been advised to review the eligibility requirements for each position and submit their applications through the prescribed online process within the announced deadline.

The appointments will be made on a contractual basis for the programme period and will not create any right to permanent government employment.
