Seven killed as tourist vehicle plunges into ravine in Chilas
Seven people, including a driver, were killed when a tourist vehicle fell into a ravine in Chilas while travelling to Fairy Meadows. Officials said efforts were under way to identify four of the deceased and recover the bodies.

ISLAMABAD: Seven people were killed after a tourist vehicle heading to Fairy Meadows fell into the Tattu Nala ravine in Chilas, Gilgit-Baltistan, on Monday, police and rescue officials said.
Police said the jeep was carrying tourists to the popular destination when it met with an accident. According to police, all seven people on board, including the driver, died in the crash.
Rescue officials identified the driver as Ziaullah, a resident of Darel in Diamer district. They said two of the deceased tourists were identified as Ali and Sajjad, both from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Officials said the remaining four dead are believed to be from Punjab, while efforts are continuing to confirm their identities. Rescue teams were also continuing work to recover the bodies from the site of the accident.
