Prince Rahim concludes Pakistan visit after meetings with top leadership

ISLAMABAD: Prince Rahim al-Hussaini Aga Khan V left Pakistan on Tuesday after completing a week-long visit during which he met the country’s senior political leadership and reaffirmed his commitment to development work in the country.

He was seen off at Nur Khan Airbase by Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Dr Tariq Fazal Chaudhry. In a post on X, Chaudhry said the visit would play an important role in deepening cooperation, friendship and partnership between Pakistan and the Aga Khan Development Network.

The minister said Prince Rahim was presented with a photo album carrying memorable images from his visit. He added that the government appreciated the welfare initiatives of the Aga Khan Development Network in Pakistan and praised its work in education, health, social welfare and economic development.

Chaudhry said the partnership aimed at shared development, prosperity and public welfare would help ensure a bright future.
