Nurse shot dead at private hospital in Sialkot, police arrest suspects
An 18-year-old nurse was shot dead while on duty at a private hospital in Kangra, Sialkot, late on Sunday night. Police registered a case against two men and said both suspects had been arrested.

NAROWAL: An 18-year-old nurse was shot dead at a private hospital in Kangra, Sialkot, late on Sunday night, and police said two suspects had been arrested.
According to a complaint filed by Muhammad Shabbir, a resident of village Charwa in Pasrur tehsil, his daughter Sadia worked as a staff nurse at the hospital. He told police that he had gone to pick her up at around 10pm when she was on duty.
In the complaint, Shabbir said a local man, Shahzeb, entered Sadia’s room along with his companion Imam Bakhsh and opened fire, killing her. Dawn reported that the killing followed a minor dispute. Sabz Pir Police Station registered a first information report against Shahzeb and Imam Bakhsh.
District Police Officer retired Captain Dost Muhammad took notice of the incident. Police shifted the body to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital, Pasrur, for a post-mortem. The DPO said the forensic team and the expert investigation team had collected evidence and recorded statements at the scene, adding that the suspects had been arrested and that justice would be ensured to the victim’s family.
