Minister asks Hajj pilgrims to represent Pakistan positively
Religious Affairs Minister Sardar Muhammad Yousuf has urged Pakistani Hajj pilgrims to act as ambassadors of the country in Saudi Arabia. He also asked them to follow Saudi regulations and pray for Pakistan’s peace and prosperity.

ISLAMABAD: As the annual Hajj rituals began, Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony Sardar Muhammad Yousuf called on Pakistani pilgrims to remember that they are representing their country in the holy land.
In a special message issued at the start of the pilgrimage, the minister congratulated pilgrims on receiving what he described as a great blessing. He urged them to reflect Pakistan’s positive image through their conduct during the journey.
Yousuf also asked pilgrims to strictly follow the schedule and regulations put in place by the Saudi authorities during Hajj. He said adherence to the rules was important as the rituals officially got underway.
The minister further requested Pakistani pilgrims to offer special prayers for the country’s peace, progress and prosperity while performing Hajj.
