Special Olympics Pakistan and Strawberry Sports Management enter long term collaboration to advance inclusive sport

KARACHI/ ISLAMABAD: Special Olympics Pakistan and Strawberry Sports Management signed an agreement, establishing a long term collaboration to raise the public profile of athletes with intellectual disabilities and strengthen inclusive sport across Pakistan.

Under the collaboration, both organizations will work towards the talent development and promotion of athletes with intellectual disabilities, including joint efforts to expand the commercial base needed to stage impactful events for such athletes. The partnership will also serve as a platform for deliberation, policy recommendations, and thought leadership aimed at building a disability-inclusive sports ecosystem across Pakistan.

Ms. Ronak Iqbal Lakhani, Founder, Special Olympics Pakistan:

“Our athletes have the talent, the determination, and the heart. What they need is visibility and opportunity. Strawberry Sports Management brings both, and we are confident that this collaboration will open doors that have long remained closed for athletes with intellectual disabilities in Pakistan.”

Mr. Haider Ali Daud, Founder, Strawberry Sports Management:

“Sport has always been our most powerful tool for nation-building, and this partnership allows us to direct that tool where it matters most. Special Olympics Pakistan has spent decades nurturing extraordinary athletes who deserve far greater recognition. Together we are determined to give them that stage.”
