A bizarre pre-Eid incident in Karachi has gone viral after two sacrificial cows reportedly broke loose from their handlers and ended up dragging a motorcycle through the streets in a chaotic nighttime scene.
The footage shows the animals running in panic through a residential area, with the motorcycle somehow getting caught and being pulled along as they fled. What followed was a full-blown street chase, as residents rushed after the runaway livestock in an attempt to bring the situation under control.
Eyewitnesses said the cows appeared startled and disoriented, likely due to the heavy Eid-ul-Azha animal movement in the city, where large numbers of sacrificial animals are brought into densely populated urban areas.
By the time the animals were eventually contained, the motorcycle had reportedly suffered significant damage. Fortunately, no serious injuries were reported.
The video quickly spread across social media platforms including Instagram and Facebook, where users turned the incident into a meme moment, calling it a “Karachi-coded” scene and joking that even livestock had joined the city’s chaotic street activity.
Such incidents are not uncommon in the weeks leading up to Eid-ul-Azha, when temporary animal markets and street-level transport of cattle often create unusual and sometimes risky urban situations across major Pakistani cities.
