Four policemen held over alleged honey trap kidnapping in Lahore
Four police constables have been arrested in Lahore’s Kot Lakhpat area after a citizen alleged he was kidnapped, robbed and tortured in collusion with two transgender suspects. The case was registered on the complaint of a Kasur resident.

LAHORE: Four police constables have been arrested in Lahore’s Kot Lakhpat area in a case involving allegations of kidnapping, torture and robbery in collusion with two transgender persons, according to a police case registered on the complaint of the victim.
The case was lodged after Bilal Ahmad, a resident of Kasur, accused the suspects of luring him and then unlawfully confining him before handing him over to police personnel who allegedly threatened him and took money from him.
Complaint details
According to the complaint, Bilal Ahmad said two transgender persons, identified as Ali alias Bilo and Alezay, stopped him on Kacha Jail Road and took him to a rented house nearby. He alleged that the two suspects took away his mobile phone and Rs40,000 in cash and then locked him inside a washroom.
Bilal further stated that the two later handed him over to four constables who were already present at the house. The policemen were identified in the complaint as Waqas, Suleman, Umair and Irfan.
He alleged that the constables then took him towards Kot Lakhpat jail. During that episode, he claimed, the policemen also took some money from him and warned him against reporting the matter to police or telling anyone else about what had happened.
Arrests made
Police have arrested the four policemen named in the case. The case was registered against all of the accused mentioned by the complainant, including the two transgender suspects and the four constables.
The incident was reported as another honey trap case in Lahore, with the allegations centring on the claimed involvement of both civilians and serving police personnel in the alleged abduction and mistreatment of the complainant.
