'Almost all men are fraud': Farhan Saeed urges women to prioritise self-worth

Pakistani singer and actor Farhan Saeed has sparked widespread discussion after making candid remarks about relationships during a recent television appearance.

Saeed appeared on a talk show alongside actress Mamya Shajaffar to promote an upcoming film, where the conversation turned toward relationship dynamics and trust between men and women.

During the discussion, Shajaffar remarked that many men mislead women with false promises. Farhan Saeed responded with an even stronger statement, saying, “Not just some, almost all men are fraud.”

His comment immediately drew attention both during the show and online after clips began circulating widely.

Saeed went on to advise women to prioritise themselves in relationships and protect their self-worth, stressing that they should not lose their identity or constantly sacrifice for a partner.

He said that many women believe they can change men through love, but argued that this rarely happens in reality. According to him, this mindset often leads women to suffer the most in relationships.

“Most women think they can change a man through love, but in reality, that rarely happens,” he said, adding that women often bear the heavier emotional cost when they remain in such situations.

Saeed encouraged women to step away from relationships that compromise their dignity and to avoid repeatedly giving chances in toxic dynamics.

He also acknowledged that men can be hurt in relationships as well, but maintained that women, in most cases, face deeper emotional consequences.

The comments quickly went viral on social media, with users debating his remarks and sharing mixed reactions to his sweeping statement about men.

Farhan Saeed, who began his career as the lead vocalist of the band Jal before transitioning into acting, remains one of Pakistan’s most recognised entertainment figures, known for dramas such as Suno Chanda and Mere Humsafar.
