Another Cambridge exam paper leaked ahead of scheduled test

LAHORE: Fresh controversy has erupted around Cambridge examinations after the A Level Mathematics S1 Paper 52 (9709) was circulating online hours before the exam officially began.

According to multiple posts circulating on social media platforms including Reddit and Discord, the paper had allegedly been shared among students hours ahead of the scheduled exam timing. The claims quickly spread online, triggering widespread concern over the integrity and fairness of the ongoing Cambridge examination session.

Students appearing in the June 2026 CAIE series expressed frustration and anxiety, with many questioning how candidates who prepared honestly could compete fairly if examination material had already circulated beforehand.

The latest allegations have intensified scrutiny on the examination system, particularly as this is not the first reported incident during the current session.

Earlier, AS Mathematics Paper 1, Pure Mathematics 1 (9707), was also allegedly leaked prior to the examination.

The controversy has led to growing demands for clarity and transparency from Cambridge Assessment International Education and an investigation into the matter.

So far, no official public statement has been issued confirming the authenticity of the alleged leak or outlining whether any action will be taken concerning the examination.
