Australia to play three ODIs in Pakistan from May 30
The PCB has announced that Australia will tour Pakistan for a three-match ODI series beginning on May 30. The visitors will arrive in Islamabad on May 23, with matches scheduled in Rawalpindi and Lahore.

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) said on Thursday that Australia’s men’s team will visit Pakistan for a three-match one-day international series later this month.
In a press release, the PCB said the Australian side is scheduled to arrive in Islamabad on May 23. The first ODI of the series will be played at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium on May 30.
The board said the remaining two matches will be held at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium on June 2 and June 4.
According to the PCB, all three ODIs will start at 4:30pm local time, while the toss will take place at 4pm.
Series schedule announced
The upcoming fixtures will mark Australia’s first bilateral ODI series in Pakistan since 2022, the PCB said in its statement.
The board also recalled that Australia toured Pakistan earlier this year for a three-match T20I series at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, where the home side completed a 3-0 sweep.
Australia were also among the teams that played ICC Champions Trophy 2025 matches in Pakistan. The PCB highlighted one of those results, noting Australia’s five-wicket victory over England at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium on February 22.
The announcement sets out the full itinerary for the limited-overs series, with Islamabad serving as the arrival point for the visiting squad before the action begins in Rawalpindi and then shifts to Lahore for the final two matches.
The first game is scheduled for May 30 in Rawalpindi, followed by the second ODI on June 2 and the third on June 4 in Lahore. The PCB said each of the three matches will follow the same start time, with play beginning at 4:30pm local time after the toss at 4pm.
The cricket board described the series as Australia’s first bilateral ODI assignment in Pakistan in three years, while also pointing to the visitors’ recent appearances in the country in other formats and tournaments.
With the schedule now confirmed by the PCB, Pakistan will host Australia across two venues in the latest bilateral engagement between the two sides.
