Punjab launches Rs50,000 IT internships with 2,400 positions across province
Punjab launched the Chief Minister Punjab Internship Initiative, offering paid IT internships with a Rs50,000 monthly stipend and 2,400 roles across the province. Eligible graduates can apply online for up to five months of training.

LAHORE: The Punjab government has introduced a paid IT internship programme offering a monthly stipend of Rs50,000, with more than 2,400 positions available across the province under the Chief Minister Punjab Internship Initiative.
According to official details, the programme aims to provide professional training to young graduates in collaboration with leading IT companies. The internships are designed to develop practical skills in digital and technology-related fields.
The positions cover a range of roles, including web development, artificial intelligence, business development, digital and social media marketing, search engine optimisation and graphic design.
The internship duration is up to five months and is subject to monthly performance evaluations as well as verification of academic credentials.
To be eligible, applicants must hold a degree in IT, computer science or a related field completed within the last two years. Candidates must also possess a valid CNIC and a Punjab domicile.
Applications can be submitted through the official portal, while further information is available via the programme helpline and email support.
