LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced a landmark broadcast and live-streaming agreement for the HBL Pakistan Super League 11 (PSL 11), covering the 2026–2029 cycle, in partnership with Walee Technologies. Valued at PKR 26.11 billion, this four-year deal marks a 21% increase in per-match value compared to previous seasons and sets the stage for a highly enhanced viewing experience.
The 11th edition of the PSL, set to begin on March 26, 2026, will feature 44 matches across the expanded eight-team tournament, now presented with cutting-edge broadcast technology aimed at matching global cricketing standards.
Key Broadcast and Production Upgrades
1. First-ever Urdu Feed:
For the first time, PSL 11 will offer a dedicated Urdu feed, including its own commentary team, pre- and post-match studio shows, and specialized camera angles. This upgrade aims to make the tournament more accessible and engaging for domestic audiences.
2. Enhanced Decision Review System (DRS):
The upgraded DRS will include off-bat visuals, tracking ball height and six-distance, along with improved replay and review capabilities, giving viewers a more detailed understanding of on-field decisions.
