Flight operations at Islamabad airport to continue as PAA cancels NOTAM

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) has revoked its earlier Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) regarding the suspension of flight operations at Islamabad International Airport scheduled for March 16.

According to an official statement, flight operations at the airport, which were previously set to be halted between 8:30am and 10:30am on Saturday, will now proceed as usual. The PAA had initially announced the temporary suspension, but has now cancelled the NOTAM, ensuring that all flights during the specified time frame will operate according to their original schedules.

The decision to cancel the NOTAM comes as a relief to passengers and airlines who were preparing for potential disruptions. The PAA did not provide specific reasons for the initial suspension or for its subsequent cancellation. However, the authority confirmed that normal operations will be maintained and advised travelers to check with their respective airlines for any updates.
