Religious scholar Allama Syed Mohsin Kazmi laid to rest in Karachi

KARACHI: Religious scholar, columnist and political commentator Allama Syed Mohsin Kazmi was laid to rest in Karachi on Thursday after a funeral prayer attended by a large gathering of mourners, including religious scholars and political figures.

The funeral prayer was held at Imam Bargah in Ancholi, where a large number of mourners gathered to pay their respects. Video footage from the funeral showed crowds filling the premises of the Imam Bargah and surrounding areas as people attended the prayer.

Prominent religious and political figures attended the funeral prayer, along with followers, students and members of the community who came to offer condolences and participate in the final rites.

Allama Syed Mohsin Kazmi was widely respected for his knowledge, oratory and commitment to religious scholarship. He delivered sermons and majalis in various cities, particularly during Muharram and other religious gatherings, where his speeches drew large audiences.
