Industrial growth in Faisalabad leads to surge in factory registrations and employment

FAISALABAD: The city of Faisalabad has experienced significant industrial growth over the past two years, resulting in a notable increase in employment opportunities, according to local officials.

Over 950 new factories registered

Commissioner Silwat Saeed stated that more than 950 new factories have been registered in Faisalabad within the last two years. She highlighted that this expansion is a direct result of increased investment in the city, which is widely recognized as Pakistan's textile hub.

Textile sector attracts fresh investment

According to Commissioner Saeed, the textile sector has been a major driver of this industrial expansion, drawing both local and foreign investment. She noted that the establishment of new factories has played a significant role in creating jobs for the local population.
