Gold stuffed samosa from Multan has husbands nervous and wives hopeful

A jewellery shop in Multan has gone viral for offering what it calls a “naya aur jadeed tareeka” to treat your wife to a samosa.

In the video, the shopkeeper cheerfully says, “Aaj hum lain hain aapki wife ko samosa khilanay ka naya aur jadeed tareeka.” But instead of heading to the fryer, he reaches for a dollar note.

He folds the currency carefully into the shape of a samosa wrapper, just like samosa patti. Then comes the “filling.” Out come gold chains, rings, and bracelets, tucked neatly inside as if they were potatoes and peas. He seals it up with flair and announces, “Ye apka samosa tayar hai, thora mehnga hai, lekin apki wife ko ye samosa bohot pasand ayega.”

The clip has spread rapidly across social media, with viewers loving the over the top creativity.

One commenter wrote, “Allah mere husband ko esa samosa khilane ki tofeeq de, bhala saal mein ek hi ho.” Another joked, “Mujhe chahiye ye, lekin husband ne kaha tum diet pe ho.” Not everyone was impressed though. One user pushed back, saying, “Mana bhaiya market mein kam nai, per iska matlab ye nai ki kuch bhi bolo.”

The video taps into a familiar marketing formula. Take something ordinary, in this case a samosa, and remix it with aspiration and luxury. Food becomes metaphor. Gold becomes stuffing. Romance becomes retail strategy.

It is clever, theatrical, and perfectly tuned for the scroll era where even jewellery needs a punchline to shine.
