LAHORE: The grand finals of the 4th Chaudhary Nazir Ahmad Memorial Punjab Junior Tennis Championship 2026 will take place at the Punjab Tennis Academy, Bagh-e-Jinnah on Sunday (January 25, 2026).
Mr. Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi, President of the Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF), will grace the concluding ceremony as the chief guest. In the Seniors 35+ doubles, Khurram Nazir and Umar Babar produced a commanding performance to secure their place in the final, defeating Sajid and Zia by 8–3. Their consistency and court control marked them as strong title contenders heading into the decisive round.
Action in the Seniors 55+ doubles also delivered competitive encounters. Ghazanfar and Saleem Khan registered an 8–3 victory over Imran and Mustafa, while Arif and Dr Arif dominated their match, defeating Kamran and Amir 8–1.
In the boys U-18 singles semifinals, Amir Mazari of Aitchison College advanced to the final with a solid 6–3 win over Aalay Husnain, while M. Muaz booked his place after overcoming M. Umar Ali 6–1. The U18 doubles semifinals saw Ayan and Ahmed defeat Ajmal and Attique 6–4, while Amir and Ohad edged past Ayan and Ahmed by the same margin to reach the final.
Junior categories witnessed impressive performances as well. The boys U-14 quarterfinals featured high-quality tennis, with Shahzain Faisal defeating Daniyal Afzal Malik 6–2, M Muaaz beating Ahmad Khuda Bukhsh 6–3, M Ayan edging Mustafa Uzair Rana 7–5, and Hadi Adeel overpowering Daniyal Abdullah 6–1.
In the boys/girls U-12 quarterfinals, Shahreed Umar defeated Faryaal Abbas 6–2, Wajeeha Fatima overwhelmed Aiman Usman 6–0, and Shahnoor Umar beat Shahraze Suzanne 6–0. The boys U-10 semifinals saw Mamnoon Bari dominate Muhammad bin Ahsan 6–0, while Shahreen Umar advanced with a 6–2 victory over Ibrahim Khan Laghari.
In the boys U-12 quarterfinals, M. Ayan defeated Mamnoon Bari 6–0, Daniyal Afzal Malik edged M. Ahsaan Bari 6–4, Daniyal Abdullah overcame Muzammil Khan 6–3, and Mustafa Uzair Rana beat Daniyal Afzal Malik 6–1. In the boys/girls U-12 doubles semifinals, Shahnoor and Shahreen defeated Mustafa and Wali Hassan 6–4, while Ayan and Daniyal recorded a convincing 6–1 win over Ahsaan and Mamnoon.
