Young stars shine at Servis Tyres Junior National Tennis Championship

 LAHORE: The Servis Tyres Junior National Tennis Championship 2026 has reached the semifinals stage at the Punjab Tennis Academy Bagh-e-Jinnah Lahore.

In the boys U-18 category, Ahtesham Humayun beat Muhammad Muaz 6-1, 6-2, while Aliyan Ali defeated Inam Qadir 6-0, 6-4. Amir Mazari delivered a flawless performance to overcome Ohad-e-Mustafa 6-0, 6-0, and Muhammad Yahya dominated Muteeb-ur-Rehman with an identical 6-0, 6-0 scoreline. In the boys U-18 doubles quarterfinals, Amir Mazari and Ahtesham Humayun beat Ohad-e-Mustafa and Ahmad Fareed Yawar 6-2, 6-2, whereas Muhammad Yahya and Inam Qadir defeated Muhammad Muaz and Muhammad Ahmad Afzal 7-5, 6-4.

In the girls U-18 category, Bismal Zia beat Khadija Khalil 6-2, 6-3, Anaya Khan outclassed Fatima Ali 6-0, 6-1, and Hajra Sohail registered a commanding win over Hadia Ali 6-0, 6-0. In the boys U-14 quarterfinals, Muhammad Muaz defeated Ahmad Fareed Yawar 4-0, 4-1, Shayan Afridi beat Ohad-e-Mustafa 4-1, 4-2, Muhammad Aayan overcame Mustafa Uzair Rana 4-1, 4-1, and Muhammad Faizan edged past M. Ibraheem Hussain Gill 4-1, 5-3. In the boys U-14 doubles, Daniyal Abdullah and Shahzain Faisal beat Zayd Mansoor and Daniyal Afzal Malik 4-0, 5-4.

Meanwhile, in the girls U-14 quarterfinals, Khadija Khalil defeated Wajeeha Fatima 4-0, 4-0, Hajra Sohail beat Shahnoor Umer 4-0, 4-0, and Eman Shahbaz overcame Zainah Abdullah 4-0, 4-1. In the boys and girls U-10 category, Zahran Zeeshan beat Wajeeha Fatima 6-2, while Ibrahim Khan Leghari defeated Ibrahim Faizan 6-0, as the championship continues to showcase the rising future of Pakistan tennis.
