Balochistan High Court announces major judicial reshuffle

QUETTA: The Balochistan High Court has announced a significant reshuffle of its judicial officers, marking a notable change in the province’s legal administration. The notification, issued on December 8, 2025, outlines several key transfers and postings among senior judges and registrars.

Nasir Khan Yousatzai, formerly District and Sessions Judge in Kuchlak, has been appointed as Registrar (B-22) of the High Court, a central role responsible for overseeing court administration.

Abdul Qayyum Lehri, previously the Registrar at the High Court, has been transferred to serve as District and Sessions Judge in Barkhan, taking charge of judicial matters in a district with complex legal challenges.

Other transfers include Zafar Uliah Bazai, who has moved from Kharan to Sariab as District and Sessions Judge, while Inayatullah Kakar assumes Bazai’s previous position in Kharan. Muhammad Ali Kakar has been posted to Uthal as District and Sessions Judge, shifting from Barkhan, with Zahoor Ahmed Langove continuing there as Additional District and Sessions Judge.

The notification stresses that all changes are effective immediately. It also assigns the additional charge of District and Sessions Judge of Kuchlak to the District and Sessions Judge of Quetta, ensuring continuity in court operations during the transition.

These adjustments reflect a strategic realignment intended to strengthen judicial oversight and operational efficiency across the province.
